Hellow to everybody! First of all, i want to say sorry for my bad language skills. I really hope you understand.
One day i found in internet the same laptop, as the author have. After my order, i start to look for information, and watched all S-Tech videos. Great thanks for them, many things about notebook become clear.
But after i received my machine, i found out that it is not the same as S-Tech have. There wasnt Type-S port, heating system consists of one metal piece. BTW, it is not a problem. The problem appeared, when i try to reinstall Windows. I connect the flash-drive, choose boot device in BIOS, installation starting but when there is a Windows logo and balls rolling by the circle, installation stand for 5-8 minutes and ends with a BSOD stop code DRIVER PNP WATCHDOG. I tryed different Windows repacks, different types of making a installation media, tryed to install without a SSD at all, but every time the error is the same. One thing, which worled, i tryed to boot Windows 7 PE in live mode, and it started. Windows 10 PE not start, got the same BSOD.
Conversation with the seller did not bring success. They can not understand, what i want, no matter how funny it sounds =) Maybe, the case is translation in chineese.
Looked for comments under videos, and find out, that there is much more people in English speaking countries, who bought the same laptop. Maybe somebody met the same problem? Ive tryed to googling, but there isnt informarion about such, maybe, unpopullar or fresh notebook. Maybe i need to change some BIOS settings?
Thanks in advance, any information would be appreciated!
Problem solved! For somebody, who, may be, interested, the case was in my Win10 image. I wanted to install custom Win10 LTSC based on 1809 version. It seems that this laptop can run only latest versions of Win10, like 21H2. Btw, this version installed without any problem.
Glad to see, that Steven McDougall dropped archive with drivers. In my case, I had to deploy the backup of the original system and manually get all the drivers to the USB flash drive, during which one of my flash drives went to Valhalla.
Good luck to everyone who buys this miracle. I wish the creator of the forum a happy life.
Hi Danny!
First, Thank you for trying out the forum. I appreciate you jumping in and using it.
I haven't really launched it fully yet so you might encounter a few bugs here or there. Sorry about that.
One of those bugs you might have noticed is that you are currently the only other person on the forum. That will hopefully change soon so hang tight as others join and might be able to give better answers than I can.
That DRIVER PNP WATCHDOG error has a few things that can cause it. Maybe take a look at this link here: https://appuals.com/driver-pnp-watchdog/
One of the reasons could be imbedded malware on that system. I'm guessing that is why you wanted to re-install Windows just like I did. I'm thinking you may need to try to get the device back to factory settings first, keep it offline and run a full malware ofline scan to see if picks up anything, AND THEN try to reinstall windows. (I hope that makes sense).
Theres a way to do that through powering on and off the device 3+ times and Windows should think theres a problem and go into the automatic repair mode. let that run its course and default everything to factory. Your touchscreen, sound and mouse buttons on the laptop may not work after that, but that seems to be normal for these things.
Or as I'm sure MANY others would suggest, you could install a linux distro.
