After Re-installing Windows...

I frequently recieved comments about specific issues people are commonly having after they reinstall Windows (or any OS it seems) on the mini-laptop. The touchscreen, and sound drivers need to be manually installed. The keyboard buttons need to be "remapped"... kind of.

(Just a warning, although it seems these devices are all the same, I do not know that for certain. These work for my unit and I am NOT responsible for any damage that may occur to other's devices.)

I actually got a great tip for remapping the keys from Borys Previr. After some experimenting he got it to work for him and It worked for me also.

Go to Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Ease of Access Center -> Set Up Mouse Keys and tick the appropriate boxes. See the attached pic.

Restart Windows and you should have the mouse functionality back in the two mouse buttons.

i know this is a dumb question, how do I install these drivers? i have never done something like this before and i recently i managed to get windows 11 freshly installed on one of these laptops that i got from aliexpress?

update: i managed to get the drivers installed through the drivers i got from that signed drivers thread. Sound, touch screen seem to be working nicely. I'd like to thank this community for having such dedication in figuring out workarounds on how to get these kinda computers up and running

But do you know how these here are installed? I have already tried the ones you mentioned and the touch screen works out of calibration, touching the top makes the lower right corner stand out, for example.

At first i didnt know how to install the files, until i started looking up tutorials on how to reinstall the drivers via power shll i think. I didnt run into any calibration issues with the touch screen, although the right click button for the key board doesnt function properly as it always shortcuts emoji's?

The biggest issue i have encountered is the "old windows". Whenever i check my storage, theres a file that pops up that says old windows and im not particulary sure on what to do with it? Also when i boot up the pc it gives me two options on which partition i wanna boot from?

If you got my driver's pack then run the installer and if the driver didn't install then goto device manager and manually install and point to the extracted files, the speaker driver is intel and should install with the chip set driver files

Thanks! I already cleaned installed windows 10 and got back touch screen with the drivers here. All I needed was the speakers now.

Hi everyone, I have windows 11 pro installed. But of course the key number is not working to activate the windows program. Is the a genaric key code that I can use so I can at least activate it. Apparently this is a common issue when these big companies load windows and don't give you the code.
